Corrections Policy
We want specific errors corrected promptly and significant changes explained clearly.
Report an error
Tell us what is wrong and show us the evidence
Email editorial@sistercasinos.nz with the page URL, the exact statement or field, your proposed correction and the strongest available source.
What to include
- The full URL of the affected page.
- The heading, sentence, table field or record you believe is wrong.
- A concise explanation of the problem and the correction you propose.
- A current primary or official source where possible, including the relevant section or date.
- Your name and contact details if you want a reply. Anonymous evidence can still be reviewed.
How we review a request
- Log and triage. We identify the affected claim, potential reader impact and whether urgent temporary wording is needed.
- Check the evidence. The request is assessed under our published evidence hierarchy, including entity, date and source context.
- Seek clarification where necessary. We may ask for a more specific source or contact a relevant organisation, but we will not request private gambling-account credentials.
- Decide and document. The editor records whether to correct, clarify, qualify, remove or retain the material.
- Publish and re-check.The page, connected records and internal links are reviewed so the correction is not isolated from related material.
How corrections appear
- Minor edits: spelling, formatting and wording changes that do not alter meaning may be fixed without a separate note.
- Material corrections: errors affecting ownership, availability, payments, warnings, scores or a reader's understanding should receive a visible correction or update note on the affected page.
- Developing information: if facts remain unresolved, we may add a qualification, mark the field pending or temporarily remove the claim.
- No change: when the published claim remains supported, we retain it and record the reason internally where the workflow permits.
A correction date does not necessarily mean every field on the page was re-verified that day. Review dates and correction notes should describe their scope.
Requesting a further review
If you disagree with a decision, reply with new evidence or explain which part of the methodology you believe was applied incorrectly. A further review may be carried out by another editor where practical. Abusive, repetitive or evidence-free messages do not require continued correspondence.
Personal information in a correction request is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not publish a correspondent's personal details without permission unless required by law.
