Jonny Jackpot Has Closed: What the Operator Said, and What Happens to Accounts

Jonny Jackpot’s operator announced closure on 11 March 2026 and a planned Malta licence surrender. This guide records the five affected brands, the published balance-enquiry process and the limits of what the notice confirms.

Closure record. This guide concerns existing accounts at a closed operator. The September 10 screenshot is retained; the notice was still available when checked on 15 September. The operator’s statements about funds and licence surrender are attributed to it, rather than treated as independently confirmed outcomes. 18+.

The short version

Jonny Jackpot is closed. Its address displayed a service-closure notice at the September 15 check. The brand and its outstanding account questions still exist; the website is no longer offering the casino service described by older reviews.

If you are searching for the brand because you remember it, or because a comparison page still lists it, that listing is out of date. If you are searching because you had an account with money in it, the section on balances below is the part that matters.

What the operator actually said

The notice names Two Shepherds Limited as the operator and states that it stopped operations on 11 March 2026. It describes a process of surrendering its MGA licence.

Its short description is “has ceased operations and is completing the surrender of its gaming licence”. That is the operator’s statement, still displayed at this review.

The notice dates the closure to 11 March 2026. It does not give a date on which the regulator accepted the surrender or all remaining account balances were paid.

The MGA authorisation record checked on 15 September 2026 lists Two Shepherds Limited’s B2C licence, MGA/B2C/991/2023, as Licensed. It includes all five brand addresses listed below and names eCOGRA as the approved alternative dispute resolution provider. That register status does not mean the casino has reopened, the surrender is complete or an individual balance has been repaid.

Five casinos closed on the same day

The shared-operator relationship is explicit in the notice: the same announcement names the five brands below.

The company says access was disabled at all five while it completed its wind-down procedures. The original screenshot records that statement.

The operator’s own notice, read 10 September 2026. One sentence names all five brands.

The named-brand list is useful evidence of the operator relationship. It does not mean accounts, balances or support references were automatically combined across the brands.

If you held more than one of these accounts, identify each separately in your records. A confirmation for one brand does not establish the balance or withdrawal status of another.

What the notice says about money

The company states that account funds remain protected and that balances will be resolved under its regulatory obligations. The notice gives no individual payment status or completion deadline.

Treat that wording as a commitment by the operator, not proof that every customer has been repaid. Keep any written balance confirmation and withdrawal reference.

The published instruction is to contact the relevant brand’s support team about a remaining balance. Jonny Jackpot’s listed address is support@jonnyjackpot.com. For the other brands, the notice gives support@captainspins.com, support@casigo.com, support@vegasloungecasino.com and support@jackpotlounge.com.

The notice asks customers to initiate contact; it does not explain whether any accounts were also processed automatically. It gives weekday support hours of 09:00–17:00 CET. Confirm the time zone with support when arranging contact, because New Zealand and Europe change clocks on different dates. Email preserves a record without needing to rely on that office-hours conversion.

Why a Malta surrender is not the same as a site vanishing

A website’s availability, an operator’s corporate status and a licence’s regulatory status are separate facts:

The MGA’s licence-surrender guidance sets out a formal process. It is a useful reference for understanding the notice, but it is not confirmation that this operator has completed every step or that an individual payment is guaranteed.

The promotion on the closure page

The closure notice also contains a promotion for another brand. That promotion should be kept separate from a request to recover an old balance.

The page recommends Playzee with a welcome offer. That does not establish a transfer of accounts, money or obligations to Playzee. A customer seeking an old balance should follow the closure support process, rather than assuming registration elsewhere is required.

The presence of that promotion does not establish its legality in every market. It also gives no evidence that the promoted operator has assumed Two Shepherds’ debts or player balances.

What this means in New Zealand

New Zealand’s licensing process is under way. DIA’s information for players anticipates the first licences from early 2027, while the provider timetable now gives 29 September 2026 as the auction date. This is separate from a closure that the operator announced in March.

For an account governed by Two Shepherds’ Maltese licence and terms, start with its support and complaints procedure. The notice does not establish that every New Zealand authority or legal remedy is unavailable. A disputed bank or card transaction, suspected fraud and a gambling-regulatory complaint can involve different organisations.

For providers still operating, Schedule 1 of the Act gives the transition conditions. An eligible existing provider applying before 1 December 2026 can use the operating exemption until the earlier of the day after notice of the licence decision or 1 June 2027. That transitional process does not reopen Jonny Jackpot or determine a former customer’s balance claim.

If you had an account, in order

  1. Check whether you had an account with any of the five, not just Jonny Jackpot. Search your email for each brand name; registration and withdrawal confirmations are the most reliable trace.
  2. Gather your own records. Keep account references, statements, deposit and withdrawal confirmations, and correspondence. Send identity documents only through a verified channel if the operator or regulator requires them.
  3. Contact support in writing and keep a copy. The notice directs balance enquiries to the relevant brand's support team, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm CET.
  4. Check your bank and card statements for any pending or reversed transactions around the closure date.
  5. If support does not resolve the issue, use the operator’s formal complaint procedure and, where applicable, its eCOGRA ADR route. The MGA’s current complaint page explains regulatory complaints in English or Maltese. At the September 15 check it also warns of intermittent form problems and asks users without an acknowledgement to resend through the address shown there. Follow its current instructions and keep the receipt; neither a submission nor a licence label guarantees repayment.

If gambling has stopped being fun

A casino closing can be a relief or a jolt, and it sometimes prompts people to go looking for a replacement straight away. That impulse is worth noticing rather than acting on.

Sources and dates checked

The screenshot and original research are dated 10 September 2026. The notice, current MGA complaint guidance, NZ Act and DIA pages were checked again on 15 September. No test complaint was sent, and the review has no access to customers’ repayment records or a regulator confirmation that the surrender is complete.

Questions and answers

Is Jonny Jackpot still open?

The operator announced closure effective March 11, 2026. The address still displayed that service-closure notice on September 15. Older pages describing an operating casino should not be treated as current.

Which other casinos closed at the same time?

The operator notice names five in one sentence: Jonny Jackpot, Captain Spins, Casigo, Vegas Lounge and Jackpot Lounge. Access to all five was disabled on 11 March 2026.

What happens to money left in an account?

The operator says it will resolve outstanding balances and asks customers to contact the relevant support team. For Jonny Jackpot the notice lists support@jonnyjackpot.com. It gives no payment deadline or account-level evidence that every balance has been returned.

Was the licence revoked?

The closure notice describes a planned surrender. The MGA authorisation record checked on 15 September 2026 still lists Two Shepherds Limited’s MGA/B2C/991/2023 licence as Licensed. That does not confirm a completed surrender, reopen the casino or establish that any particular balance has been repaid.

Can a New Zealand regulator help?

Start with the operator’s complaint procedure for the account and the applicable Maltese regulatory or ADR route. It is too broad to say no NZ organisation can help with any related issue: a bank dispute or suspected fraud may involve other authorities. Future NZ licensing does not itself resolve this old account claim.
